Money Making Myth

I want to make this the first thing you read from me here.

Most people either have been taken in countless times with ‘fast way’ to laugh all the way to the bank and still not learn the lesson OR have no clue about ‘what the hell is going on here?’. I have been on both ends and I know the feeling of waiting for the cash register to ring every single day (but did not), and I know the feeling of having no clue to haul in the cash.

But I Can Tell You What Work – Short Term

I have tried 2 things which some of you might know and can relate too:

First, you sign up with a forum. I signed up with a popular forum, and I start pitching my offer – in the ‘sig file’ and in the relevant thread.

I made a few sales but guess what; it does not support my day to day expenses. Far from it – and I was told that forum is the best place for Newbies to start. I listened to them – to the expert – so what could go wrong? But the point is: marketing in related forum works – short term.

Second, I signed up with a couple of Traffic Exchanges (TEs). I slap up splash pages, as recommended, get an autoresponder, and work my a$$ up to get credits. For some TEs, I just buy the credits.

Well that works. I got 35 active subscribers in a few list groups in less than a month. Not too bad I guess for a newbie but then again, it is short lived. The profit seems to stop after a while.

Maybe I did not get the concept of ‘continuity’ program.

I knew then that this is not what I want to do all my life. I cannot slave myself to short-lived business model. I need to find a better way. There must be a better way. There must be something that can work long term, and provide steady income.

Along Comes The Resale Rights

This is by far one of my best business models.

I learned how to set up resale rights offer. I learned how to customize the sales letter, offer, ‘buy now button’, ‘thank you’ page, and I learned to promote my offer online as aggressive as I can.

Since I knew how to use TEs and forum marketing, these had become my favorite traffic generation method. I kept listing programs after programs. In some niches, I worked to get the lead, and then pitched the offer. If I leaned something, I implement it right away.

I Become an Obsessed Tester

I test, track and tweak all day long.

My wife become irritated (because she yet to understand what I am doing) with my online activities, and that cause me to work even harder – just to prove her wrong. I kept learning, doing, changing, and repeating the cycles.

In some tests, I succeed beyond description, and in some I had epic failure.

One area which I fail but I just seem to come back for more is Pay Per Click (PPC). It is much easier to set up a campaign and see the result, than any other methods I have known so far. But it cost most of my grey matter and marketing budget.

Finally I Found My Perfect Way

I say ‘my way’.

You might not like it simply because it cost more grey matter, energy but it cost less marketing budget than all my previous method. In fact, I can start seeing the result in as short as a month – if I did everything right (and I can prove it too!).

This method is known as SEO: Search Engine Optimization.

I believe this fits my way of online money making. And if I find this method suits me well, I can bet that many newbies and seniors find this method ‘near complete hands free automatic income’ online. I mean every words I say, and I have proof for it.
