Article Writing Secrets: Write Something You Know About A LOT!

Write something you know a lot aboutLet me put this plain and simple: the secrets to article writing is to write something you know about a lot. I can hear some of you sneer and jeer to this. And I can understand.

Some of you had written a lot about something you knew a little. But I knew the secret to that also. You either:

  • Spend hours researching that topic or…
  • Paid someone at Elance, RentaCoder, etc. to write it or…
  • Purchase a ‘slick’ software to rewrite stuff for you!

Hell, what’s new to all this? I’ve been there, I’ve done that.

But guess what?

Doing that satisfy one client which you had all the intention to because it pays you. That client is the search engines, particularly, Google.

All the contents created from a little knowledge you have will go into submission for the purpose of traffic pulling and backlinking.

I know. I did that (and still doing) myself.

But for some reason, doing that drain an important element to work: satisfaction.

Now, answer me, how satisfy are you once you finish with a spin article?

  1. Very satify
  2. Somewhat
  3. Not satisfy

Pick your answer. You don’t have to tell it to me.

I had a blog at ‘another place’ which I find ‘at home’ whenever I wrote a post.

Now, this blog is not my money maker. In fact, it hardly make a single cent from affiliate or Adsense, but whenever I feel I need to vent out on something, I find myself go there often.

That’s mean I write frequently and I write a lot.

I can see that it’s easy to write something with a lot of emotion going behind it, couple with endless supply of active vocabulary. And if you have to know a secrets to writing articles then that’s it.

You want to write something that you have rich vocabulary in and supported by strong emotion.

I had experiment with my article writing, back in those days, where whenever I need a ‘jolt’ in my writing, all I need to do is got o my favorite article directory, find the ‘most viewed’ article for a specific category, and start reading them.

When I find and article that really caught my attention, and I assume my readers will to, I reread the article.

I then check for my feeling. I ask myself, “What do I agree, disagree or not sure with this article?”

I jot down the point (yes, jot it down on piece of paper), and I make my argument next to it.

When I have enough points, I start writing. And I use my personal experience to support or dismiss a point. Lo and behold, in no time, I got myself a genuine, unique article.

And I can write much more and easily when I had more words at my disposal and lots of personal experience. If search engines loves unique, relevant contents, I can deliver more with just these 2 ingredients. Can you see?

So when I say the secrets to article marketing is to write something you know a lot about, I don’t make that up. It’s how I write. And probably you want too.
